Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking to grow your career in project development? We are seeking a Junior Project Developer to join our growing North American team. This role supports various development processes throughout the project lifecycle for Solar PV and hybrid (PV + BESS) projects .

The Junior Project Developer will assist with analytical and project development tasks for greenfield, co-development, and acquired projects. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to track and report on project schedules, budgets, expenditures, and other key development areas. Additionally, the position includes research and analysis of land, grid, regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, incentives, and abatements to support project filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating project reports, budgets, schedules, contracts, and key project documents to support stakeholders.
• Participate in weekly and monthly project reviews , providing updates and driving discussions on project action items.
• Maintain and update project tracking systems for budgeting, progress monitoring, and reporting .
• Support project development efforts by conducting research on market trends, permitting requirements, and regulatory changes .
• Keep project document libraries organized and up to date.
• Review project agreements and, with guidance from subject matter experts, maintain a compliance register across key areas such as land, grid, and offtake agreements .

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy-related field, or renewable energy development .
• 4+ years of experience in renewable energy project development.
• Experience with contract management, scheduling, and budgeting .
• Basic understanding of project financial models .
• Proficiency in MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheets, Zoho, or other project management tools .
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
