Investment Banking / Private Equity Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Private Equity Backed Industry Leader located in Atlanta, GA is searching for an Investment Banking / Private Equity Analyst with a strong focus on strategic growth and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the executive leadership team, gain valuable exposure to private equity operations, and contribute to high-impact financial and investment projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to conduct in-depth financial and operational assessments
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts
  • Perform asset-specific pro-forma forecasting and profitability analysis
  • Prepare segment P & L’s and conduct detailed revenue and cost projections
  • Support M & A opportunities with financial evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Pro forma forecasting on an asset-specific basis
  • Experience with preparing Segmented Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, quality of earnings analysis and detailed revenue and cost projections
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
